We are happy to announce that on December 22, 2025, Reszkessetek, berók will come to Budapest! large-scale concert, which provides an unforgettable festive experience for the whole family. Since its presentation in 1990, the Trembling, burglars! became one of the most defining works of the holiday season. The magical and iconic soundtrack of the world-famous composer John Williams will be performed live by the Hungarian Studio Orchestra, while the film screen will also come to life.
In the film, Macaulay Culkin plays Kevin McCallister, a resourceful 8-year-old boy who is accidentally left at home when his family goes on Christmas vacation and is forced to defend his home against two left-handed burglars (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern). This hilarious and heartwarming story is full of humour. and with festive magic, it provides an unforgettable experience for the whole family, where film and music come together in perfect harmony.

This iconic holiday favourite features the charming and delightful music of renowned composer John Williams, performed live by the Hungarian Studio Orchestra during the screening of the film. The concert is conducted by the famous conductor Ernst van Tiel, which guarantees a truly unforgettable musical experience. Since its debut in 2013, Home Alone in Concert has been a seasonal favorite among bands and audiences worldwide!
The film was also nominated for two Oscar® awards, in the Best Original Score and Best Original Score (Somewhere in My Memory) categories.

The musicians of the Hungarian Studio Orchestra have been playing together in various musical productions for more than 15 years since their school days. Our band is primarily specialised in making studio recordings, and we try to meet the highest technical and artistic expectations with our partners. Nick Wollage, Michael Richard Plowman, Tom Garrad-Cole, Kornél Fekete-Kovács or Péter Pejtsik. In addition to classical music tasks, they are happy to perform jazz, light music and crossover requests, from a full symphony orchestra to even the smallest chamber ensemble, in any composition.
