Chamber music rock group ORBI plays music from Mahler to The Doors, Radiohead and Morricone and combines historical drama with contemporary issues.
Three top classical musicians and one pop musician continuously challenge each other by, for example, imitating virtuoso guitar solos with a bassoon or double bass.
ORBI or 'The Oscillating Revenge of the Background Instruments' is a chamber music rock group. In both the rock/metal style and the late romantic music of Mahler and Wagner there is a penchant for epic and existential issues, and in this program ORBI combines this historical drama with the concerns of the present.
