Current Yorkshire Regional Champion and National Champion of Great Britain, the band really values new music for brass, often performing works by living composers including the band’s sought-after Composer in Association, Paul Lovatt-Cooper. With renowned Musical Director Nicholas Childs at the helm, Black Dyke Band recently welcomed rising young star Charlie Cresswell to its tuba section.
