Program Info:
In February every year, young musicians aged 10-19 gather in Gothenburg’s Konserthus and form the popular Sportlovsorkestern. 2024 over 100 young people applied for a place! The orchestra is not afraid to take on everything from film and video game music to Bach, Shostakovich or Carmen.

Conductor and artistic director of the Sportlov Orchestra is Ron Davis Alvarez, Gothenburg-based award-winning pedagogue and conductor with assignments all over the world and well-known as leader of the Side by Side music camp.
