The December concert is an event full of musical surprises. We want to combine the atmosphere of the upcoming St. Nicholas Day with symphonic virtuosity. The meeting program will include classical works enriched with film music accents. We will hear songs known to concert hall goers around the world, such as the Doll's signature aria Les oiseaux dans la charmille from 's The Tales of Hoffmann J. Offenbach , Johann Strauss II's musical joke - Perpetum Mobile , or John Williams's Imperial March, known to Star Wars fans . This rich range of musical diversity will allow us to focus on sound colors, which are one of the key elements of a musical work. It is, of course, determined by the musical instruments used by composers and the way they use them in their works, which is particularly important in onomatopoeic, illustrative or program music. These are the types of songs we will listen to during the Saint Nicholas concert filled with a symphony of colors of orchestral instruments.
