Escape into the phantasmagorical world of Miyazaki's films. Here we are off to the legendary Japanese lands!
This concert opens the doors to the wonderful world of Joe Hisaishi, composer of the music for the animated films Princess Mononoke , Howl's Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away . Immerse yourself in the greatest themes of the Japanese imagination which have toured the planet and marked generations. The musicians complete this oriental escape with the unique and superb string quartet of Debussy and the contemporary notes of Wim Henderickx. What a pleasure to follow the sounds of the shô, this Japanese mouth organ which carries within it all the poetry of the Rising Sun.
