Mesmerising organ soundtracks from favourite films and masterpieces of world cinema will be included in the program of international competition laureate Timur Khaliullin. “Solaris”, “Maleficent”, “Game of Thrones”, “Star Wars”, “Once Upon a Time in America”, “Harry Potter”, “Mission Impossible”, “The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath”, “Interstellar” and many others films will literally come to life in your imagination to the hypnotic sounds of the “king of instruments.”
Often it is the organ sound that gives a film that necessary “atmosphere”, which helps convey to the audience the main idea of the authors of a film masterpiece, which would be impossible to express in any words, even if they were spoken by a brilliant actor. Such is the power of great music to penetrate the depths of the soul. The concert will feature masterpieces by J. S. Bach, F. Mendelssohn, K. Orff, as well as geniuses of film music E. Morricone, J. Williams, E. Artemyev, M. Tariverdiev, H. Zimmer and others.
The author of this unusual project is Russian organist Timur Khaliullin, participant in all-Russian and international festivals, author of concerts and lectures for young people, presenter of “Organ Life News” on Radio Russia. In 2020, he was recognised as “Organist of the Year” as the author of the most original and conceptual concert programs (“Virtuoso Pedal, or Dancing at the Organ,” “From Baroque to Rock,” “Cover Organ,” “Organ is Modern,” “ Cinema organ").
