Hollywood in Bern
Berner Symphonieorchester - Stadttheater

Program Info:
After the great success of the first edition of Hollywood in Bern last season, the Bern Symphony Orchestra is continuing its journey of discovery through the world of cinema. Compositions from Hollywood's "Golden Era" such as Alfred Newman's 20th Century Fox Fanfare are on the program, as are modern classics written by John Williams (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jaws), Ennio Morricone (Play Me the Song of Death) or Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future). A varied concert for the whole family that spans a wide range from The Godfather and Titanic to Mary Poppins, Ghostbusters and The Neverending Story. A potential young star presents himself at the podium: the musical direction of the concert is in the hands of a prize winner from an international conducting competition.
