Elf in concert
Minnesota Orchestra! - Orchestra Hall
Program Info: John Debney - Elf
Buddy was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler, and raised among Santa’s elves. This holiday season Buddy travels to New York—with the Minnesota Orchestra! Experience John Debney’s wonderful score as the full film plays on the big screen.
You may know director Jon Favreau plays the doctor in Elf. But he ALSO voiced several of the stop-motion characters who send Buddy off to New York, including the narwhal with his classic line, "Bye, Buddy. Hope you find your dad."
Film composer John Debney scored this absolutely enchanting score for Elf in 2003. His first big studio feature? Composing the score to 1993's Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus (also featured on the U.S. Bank Movies & Music lineup this season).
LET IT ALL OUT: When you watch a film live at Orchestra Hall, you can cheer for your favorite moments (and boo your least favorite characters) as you and the audience enjoy this truly unique and collective experience together.
