Program Info: Today, Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota are rightly considered icons of world film music. The show dedicated to their work will present the most important stages of the careers of both composers, from the iconic songs of the sixties to the melodies written for the films of Sergio Leone and created for Hollywood.
The program will allow you not only to hear the works of unsurpassed masters live, but also to take a unique emotional journey through the waves of creativity of Rota and Morricone, in which eternal themes intertwine with the inner world of creators. The idea behind the project was Marcello Rota, a world-renowned conductor. The music from the films is performed by soloists who have made their mark in the history of Italian and world cinema: Nello Salza (trumpet), Ludovico Fulci (piano) Susanna Rigacci (soprano). Under the impeccable direction of Maestro Morricone, they played more than 500 concerts all over the world.
