Charles Chaplin - The Gold Rush

Step into the Klondike! The gold rush is at its height, and gold miners are arriving in droves to Yukon in search of a better life. Among them is Charles Chaplin's iconic character, the Tramp, beloved by the camera and the public. The Gold Rush, a classic of the silent film era, will be projected onto a screen on the back wall of the concert hall, with the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra providing the soundtrack. The film concert kicks off the TPO in Cinema series, in which the most famous landmarks of silver screen are brought to life by a symphony orchestra.
