“Once upon a time…” Michael Forster will definitely open this special film concert with these words, because there is a lot to tell! From the wonderful film music from the most beautiful fairy tale films to the great classical compositions that look to the fairytale as inspiration. In addition to musical highlights from "Harry Potter", "Pirates of the Caribbean" or "Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella", we also devote ourselves to parts of Stravinsky's "Firebird" or Rimsky-Korsakov's "Scheherazade". As a special highlight, this time the orchestra is supported by the wonderful choir of the Bergische Symphoniker. So we can look forward to an evening with powerful voices that will catapult us into dreamlike spheres. All's well that ends well.
