Program Info: Come celebrate one of the greatest composers of all time during the Amadeus film concert on March 7 & 8, 2025 at La Seine Musicale (Paris). Under the direction of Mathieu Romano, the 90 musicians and choristers of the Yellow Socks Orchestra & Choir will perform Mozart's most emblematic works live, in perfect synchronisation with the projection of the film (VOSTFR) on the big screen.
Awarded 8 Oscars® in 1984 (including Best Film, Best Actor, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay), Miloš Forman's masterpiece is a cinematic triumph. Amadeus is a sumptuous period film, a celebration of the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, enhanced live by the power of the symphony orchestra and choir!
Adapted from Peter Shaffer's play, the film Amadeus remains faithful to it and perfectly depicts the contrast between " the sublimity of Mozart's music and the vulgar buffoonery of his letters which seem to have been written by an eight-year-old child".
