Program Info: Alexander Arutiunian's solo concerto from 1950 is a classic in the trumpet repertoire. In this concert we get to hear it with the Växjö City Symphony Orchestra's own solo trumpeter Anders Einarsson. We also encounter film music by the Rottne composer Andreas Ahlm. He has written music for films and television series and his music has been played on television programs worldwide on channels such as NBC, Eurosport, CNN and Fox News. The concert opens and ends with music by Johannes Brahms and Edvard Grieg.
