There are many explanations as to why the 100-year-old film is inextricably linked to music. One fact is that the UFA studios in Babelsberg founded the first film orchestra in Germany as early as 1918. After many changes, the orchestra is still active and still committed to film. With melodies for milestones in film history, such as The Godfather , Pirates of the Caribbean , Jurassic Park , Indiana Jones , James Bond , Harry Potter or ET , to name just a few, the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg offers a great program to rave about with symphonic sound - from Babelsberg via Hollywood to Spandau!
