Program Info: What would Jaws be without two simple bass notes? Or Psycho without interesting violins? Would The Omen be as disturbing without the blaring chorus? Or would Halloween itself have been just as terrifying without the insistent piano motif that adds an eerie mood throughout?
Films without music lose much of their magic, and horror films without music become almost banal. But what about the music without the film? Well, that's actually a whole other story! We therefore welcome you into the concert hall for an eerie encounter with horror film soundtracks. We may not reveal what we're playing until the opening credits roll, but get ready for horror in musical form on Halloween itself!
