Łukasz LUC Rostkowski - Chłopi
The music for the film "Chłopi" is created by Łukasz LUC Rostkowski, a young composer and producer, winner of many awards. His projects, combining music with history, have gained recognition, including: in cooperation with the Warsaw Uprising Museum, ECS, IPN, Pilecki Institute and many other institutions in Poland and around the world. Rostkowski creates a new form of multimedia historical lessons, combining art with education, music with comics and animations.
The soundtrack to the film "Chłopi" is based on traditional Polish sounds and authentic folk instruments. Just as Reymont used simple peasant language to create a colorful baroque verbal cathedral, Rostkowski strives to create beautiful film music based on authentic sounds of folk instruments, compositions and traditional themes. Modernity manifests itself only in thinking about forms and arrangements. The most important thing, however, is that this project is a unique compendium of the most interesting folk music phenomena, involving many musicians devoted to tradition, such as Maria Pomianowska, Laboratorium Pieśni, Sutari, Dagadana, Tęgie Chłopy, etc.
