Concert Halloween
Orchestre National Montpellier Occitanie conducted by Nathanaël Iselin - Opéra Comédie
Program Info: A rain of classic hits falls on the Opéra Comédie during this exceptional Halloween concert!
There will be something for everyone: the devil himself is summoned by Liszt and Meyerbeer, while Paul Dukas floods the sorcerer's workshop thanks to his clumsy apprentice. John Williams, for his part, composed the most terrifying music for all bathers, that of Jaws and, closer to us, illustrated the adventures of the famous Harry Potter. You will also hear the music from Psycho, one of the greatest horror films of all time where Bernard Herrmann perfectly recreates the breathtaking suspense that Hitchcock was magnificently able to transcribe on screen. Immerse yourself in the fantastic atmospheres of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker and the psychedelic opening of Smetana's Doctor Faust, the most sulphurous character! This terrifying concert will be under the baton of Nathanaël Iselin, young French chef 1st Prize of the 8th Jorma Panula Competition in Finland. Come dressed up!
