Program Info: Music from Clint Eastwood's legendary films in a completely new version! Film compositions beloved by cinema fans will be played by a jazz quintet and a 65-piece symphony orchestra.
The Eastwood Symphonic project is headed by Kyle Eastwood - an American jazz musician and composer, son of Clint Eastwood. During the concert, we will hear musical themes from cult films such as Gran Torino, "Letters from Iwo Jima", "Banner of Glory", "What Happened in Madison County" performed by a jazz quintet and a symphony orchestra. The author of the arrangement of the songs is Gast Waltzing, a trumpeter and composer from Luxembourg.
Kyle Eastwood was born in Los Angeles in 1968. He is the son of the legendary actor and director, Clint Eastwood. He learned his love for music from home. As a child, he started playing the bass guitar. He continued his musical education while studying at the University of Southern California, and after hours he played in jazz clubs in Los Angeles.
Kyle's musical career began in the 1990s, when he founded his own jazz band and released his first album, "From Here To There" (1998). Since then, he has released seven more critically acclaimed albums, on which he collaborated with other musicians, including Clint Eastwood. Kyle has also composed soundtracks for numerous films.
