Laurel and Hardy form a single entity, a single body divided in two, the skinny and the fat, the cunning and the clumsy, the tall and the small. Between them, they create the perfect imbalance and allow us to discover the early days of American burlesque cinema with three short films shot at the very beginning of their career, between 1927 and 1929. Three strokes of genius set to music by Cyrille Aufort . Here the notes fly like cream pies and we laugh until we cry at the gags and blunders of this shocking tandem which brings silent cinema up to date. A funny and nostalgic film concert to open the doors to a forgotten world as a family in which music replaces words.
