The Oulu Sinfonia invites you to an intensive discovery trip into the life and works of Sergei Prokofiev , the winner of the XII International Jean Sibelius Violin Competition, who charmed the audience, will come to Oulu for a long-awaited return visit in a three-concert festival, during which Inmo Yang . During the festival, Yang will play as a soloist in both of Prokofiev's violin concertos.
Prokofiev built his reputation as a hard-nosed horror, but calmed down in the wake of the Russian Revolution. The key works of the new style, the Classical Symphony and the lyrical First Violin Concerto, do have irony and irony, but now in moderate doses.
