After the assembly line worker Chaplin first gets caught between the gears of a gigantic machine and minutes later has to serve as a guinea pig for a newly developed feeding machine, he goes crazy, goes crazy and runs amok. As soon as he was released from the mental institution, the next mishap befell him. The film, which Charlie Chaplin made as a screenwriter, director, leading actor and composer as a one-man operation, is now a legend and almost as relevant as it was 100 years ago. Together with the live music, it's an absolute must for all silent film fans!
