Christmas Classics at the Movies
Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz conducted by Sander Teepen - Concertgebouw, Grote Zaal
Program Info: Under the direction of Sander Teepen, the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz presents the most beautiful music from Christmas films and winter classics. Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker cannot of course be missed, as can Irving Berlin's White Christmas . Silvestri's Polar Express races by and things get exciting for a moment with Elfman's The Nightmare before Christmas. And of course there is music by the film composer: John Williams. His fairytale music for Harry Potter concludes this wonderful concert.
