Everyone associates different beautiful things with Christmas - for many people, "Love Actually" is one of them: Richard Curtis' film classic from 2003 puts you in a wonderfully romantic mood just in time for the holiday. No wonder, after all, the episodic film is about the most beautiful of all feelings ten times. In the interwoven stories, people fall in love or have heartbreak, embark on amorous adventures or find a partner for life. The film's cast includes countless stars, including Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Rowan Atkinson, Alan Rickman, Claudia Schiffer, Heike Makatsch and Keira Knightley.
But the music also plays a major role, with many famous songs such as “Christmas Is All Around”, “All You Need Is Love” and “Jump (For My Love)”. The award-winning film composer Craig Armstrong wrote the wonderfully romantic score. On December 25th and 26th, 2024, the romantic-musical film can be with live accompaniment by the Prague Royal Philharmonic experienced back in the Isarphilharmonie . Christmas couldn't end any better!
