Program Info: The world-famous Oscar winner Ennio Morricone is considered one of the most prolific composers in the history of film music; he has written over 500 film scores for cinema and television and created legendary pieces.
He received his last Oscar in February 2016 for Tarantino's “The Hateful 8.” Morricone made himself immortal almost 50 years ago with his music for “Play me the song of death”. His compositions for the spaghetti western classic “Two Glorious Scoundrels”, for Roland Joffé's drama “Mission” and for Giuseppe Tornatore's film “Cinema Paradiso” achieved particular fame.
His fans can experience Morricone's unforgettable works live in selected cities. 80 musicians and singers from the Milano Festival Opera under the direction of the renowned conductor Marco Seco will be on stage and bring Morricone's stirring music to life. ORIGINAL MOVIE SCENES
