The Musical World of Anime

Program Info: The chamber orchestra Nella Musica Orchestra and the vocal ensemble Nella Voice will perform soundtracks from popular anime: “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind,” “Naruto,” “Howl’s Moving Castle,” “Spirited Away,” “Evangelion,” “Princess Mononoke,” etc. Musical themes combined with video art will transport viewers into the atmosphere of famous animated stories.
The orchestra consists of graduates of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky and the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music. The team was created in May 2021 under the leadership of Ekaterina Kochetkova. The programs of Nella Musica Orchestra multimedia projects include soundtracks of popular films by Hayao Miyazaki, Tim Burton, George Lucas, Luc Besson, Christopher Nolan, Alfonso Cuaron and other directors.
