Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in concert
Dresdner Philharmonie conducted by Benjamin Pope - Kulturpalast, Konsertsaal
Program Info: John Williams - Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
George Lucas completed the original trilogy of his "Star Wars" saga in 1983 with "Return of the Jedi". Cult figures such as Yoda and Darth Vader, fantastic locations such as the desert planet Tatooine or the second Death Star and Oscar-winning special effects continue to fascinate viewers of all ages to this day. The space epic achieved cult status not least thanks to the award-winning soundtrack by John Williams. A galactic journey of cinema and sound awaits viewers and listeners when the third film in the science fiction saga comes to the Kulturpalast for the first time. While the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Benjamin Pope, plays the impressive soundtrack live, the film will be shown in full length on a large screen.
