After the successful film concert "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl", the sequel to the captivating pirate saga, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest " , will be available on the big screen at the KKL Lucerne in February 2025. The 21st st Century Orchestra and the 21st st Century Chorus under the direction of Ludwig Wicki bring Hans Zimmer's Grammy-nominated score to life live. The musical crew takes the audience into a dramatic screen adventure that pushes Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow and Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Swann to the limits of the impossible as well as the nerves of the audience, who root for their film heroes.
Because you can't expect relaxation and a Caribbean feeling on the "Black Pearl": Cutler Beckett, the high-ranking representative of the British East India Trading Company, is after Jack's magical compass and is doing everything he can to get it with a devious plan. As if that weren't enough, the legendary ghost pirate Davy Jones, captain of the "Flying Dutchman" to whom Jack once promised his soul, now demands his debt and hunts him down with a giant octopus. Not only does Jack's life get a few more adventures - Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann's wedding plans also fall through when they are drawn into the chaos surrounding Captain Jack Sparrow...
