The Music of Game of Thrones & House of the Dragon
Czech Symphony Orchestra conducted by Franz Bader - Stadthalle Chemnitz - Stadthallen-Saal
Program Info: The music of the cult series comes live for the first time with a large orchestra and choir on a concert tour through Germany.
The fantasy novel series, which is based on the hit TV series Game of Thrones, already has music in its title: A Song of Ice and Fire. Because the novels are composed in a complex way like a symphony. Accordingly, the original film music by Ramin Djawadi combines everything that accounts for the global success of the television series Game of Thrones based on the original by the American author George RR Martin: drama, passion, love, hate, surprising twists and sometimes almost unbearable tension. The gripping music also describes the vastness of the landscape, the freezing cold, the smacking of the mud of a battlefield, shimmering heat and of course the ecstatic stumbling of the main characters - sometimes out of mad love, sometimes out of blind hatred. Lies and disgrace, shame and triumph, farewell and innocence are congenially musically implemented here.
Since 2017, the film music has been successfully performed in concert halls and arenas throughout the German-speaking world. For the first time, the music of the cult series can be heard live together with the successful prequel House of the Dragon.
The music of the first season complements the highlights from Game of Thrones. World-famous compositions such as "The Rains of Castamere" from Game of Thrones, as well as "The Dance of Dragons" and "Fire and Blood" from House of the Dragon will be heard. Experience the fight between good and evil, feelings between love and hate and the dark obsession of the main characters. Under the musical direction of Franz Bader, the 50 musicians of the Czech Symphony Orchestra, the large choir and the singer interpret the almost endless variations of the soundtracks. A spectacular light show provides the visual background.
Visitors immerse themselves in the fantastic world of Westeros and Essos.
