Stare into the abyss and let the terrors wash over you. Horror is one of mankind’s oldest sensations, as strongly connected to our genetically programmed survival instinct as our sexual urges. Through the ages we have been fascinated by the horrid, ghastly and grotesque.
Orvar Säfström and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra wander into the darkest, winding corridors of madness where the dead have come to life and the servants of evil hold court. The Horror is a film score concert out of the ordinary. Alexander Hanson leads the forces and we also hear Swedish soprano Sabina Sweiacker.
The Horror is a concert by Underscore Productions AB, and not suitable for younger children.
