Game Music Collective is Europe's first professional orchestra focused on game music, which cellist Lukas Stasevskij gathered in 2017 from Finland's foremost young musicians. Game Music Collective has given concerts to full halls, e.g. Finlandia Hall, Tampere Hall and Logomo in Turku.
The Game Music played by the Game Music Collective has also reached a large global audience on YouTube, where concert recordings and game music videos have already been viewed more than 25 million times.
Due to their RESTART (Finnish Game Music Revised) album, Game Music Collective was also nominated for the 2023 Classic Emma award. On the album, you could hear e.g. music from Finnish games by Remedy, Supercell and Rovio.
4.8. the concert will include music from e.g. from the following games and game series: Skyrim, Halo, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Destiny and The Last of Us. The concert will be conducted by Erkki Lasonpalo and the orchestra will also include young players from the Vivo Symphony Orchestra. Soprano Iris Candelaria and Men's Choir Alvar perform with the orchestra.
