City Light Symphony Orchestra conducted by Kevin Griffiths - Kurpark
Program Info: The films with live music are highly popular at Klosters Music: “Cinema Paradiso”, “Singin’ in the Rain” and the silent film homage “Triple Bill” with classics by Chaplin, Keaton and Laurel & Hardy from the last festival were real crowd-pleasers. The concert hall of the Arena Klosters transformed into a special cinema with popcorn, a large screen and a symphony orchestra is an unforgettable experience. At the end of the festival, film music becomes even more of a focal point. Whether it’s “James Bond” or “Star Wars”, “Harry Potter” or “Indiana Jones”, “Lawrence of Arabia” or “Dances with Wolves” – the City Light Symphony Orchestra covers them all. Under the reliable direction of Kevin Griffiths, action films meet romances. The thrilling music by composers such as John Barry, John Williams, Ennio Morricone, Charles Chaplin, Maurice Jarre and others is accompanied by film sequences and images. An evening of fond memories and great emotions!
