Program Info: This year the Diaphona Musical Association dedicates the Spring concert to the music of Disney, for the 100th anniversary of his birth. The Gerardo Di Lella Grand Orchestra , already protagonist of special events dedicated to auteur cinema and its soundtracks, will propose an extraordinary concert (over 2 hours of music) entirely dedicated to the most beautiful and famous songs from Disney classics such as "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", "The Little Mermaid", "Beauty and the Beast", up to the most recent masterpieces such as "Frozen", "Rapunzel" and "The Lion King", which with their fantastic characters have achieved global success. For the occasion, the Gerardo Di Lella Grand Orchestra will be made up of 92 orchestra teachers, including choir and solo voices. Maestro Di Lella personally arranged all the scores of the songs, faithfully respecting the original versions, giving the spectator the emotion of seeing the films again through music. Given the extreme popularity and artistic characteristics of this repertoire, the performance will allow important moments of sharing between three different generations of the public.
