Quincy Jones, who turned 90 last year, has had an extraordinary career spanning over 70 years. Guy Barker – himself a member of his band – helms this birthday tribute by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and a stellar line-up of vocalists.

It features music from the award-winning albums he produced that broke sales records, as well as music from his own solo albums like Walking in Space, Big Band Bossa Nova and Smackwater Jack.
In a show packed with classics, the music will include Fly Me to the Moon, Thriller, Soul Bossa Nova, In the Heat of the Night, One Mint Julep, On Days like These, Ease on Down the Road, Come Fly with Me, Ironside, Let the Good Times Roll, She’s Out of My Life, Miss Celie’s Blues, The Self-Preservation Society and Razzamatazz.
