The Music of Game of Thrones & House of the Dragon
Czech Symphony Orchestra conducted by Franz Bader - Gewandhaus
Program Info: Czech Symphony Orchestra Philharmonic Choir Franz Bader, conductor Franziska Bader, soloist
Dramatic drum rolls, sombre cello sounds, oriental melodies - the music for the "Game of Thrones" series is as complex as its plot and characters. The soundtrack by the German-Iranian Ramin Djawadi underscores everything that made the television series a worldwide success: the battle between good and evil, feelings between love and hate and the dark obsession of the main characters.
The concert evening "The Music of Game of Thrones" is dedicated entirely to the music of the series. Under the musical direction of Franz Bader, the 50 musicians of the Czech Symphony Orchestra, a choir and the vocal soloist Franziska Bader interpret the almost endless variations of the soundtrack. A spectacular light show provides the visual background.
The monumental orchestral work develops its very own dynamic and overwhelms the listener. A musical evening as gripping as the series itself.
