The Echo of Navy Band Part III
Navy Band Alumni Wind Band conducted by Lian-chang Kuo - National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, Concert Hall
Program Info: Navy Band Alumni Wind Band was founded in 2020, bringing together members who had served in the Navy Band for over 40 years, spanning various professions. They came together with the sole purpose of reigniting their passion for music and reliving the endless memories of the Navy Band. Overcoming numerous challenges, including gathering Navy alumni from all over Taiwan and securing practice venues, they finally took the stage on January 16, 2021, to celebrate with the country's first centennial band, the "Navy Band."
This year, in addition to reuniting Navy alumni, they have invited other military band veterans who are music enthusiasts to join them. They have also invited Mr. Li Kun-Ying, the current principal trombonist of the National Symphony Orchestra, who is a Navy Band alumnus. Together, they will bring a fantastic musical feast to the audiences who love wind ensembles.
