Program Info: Superheroes come in many guises. Some are quite obvious. The heroes in comics often wear capes. Batman, Superman, Green Lantern and Wonder woman are clearly recognisable as our heroic protectors. In the heroes of the MARVEL UNIVERSE we see less obvious attributes. Spiderman, Dr. Strange and Hulk clearly have special features on the outside, but it's less obvious with the X-Men. And what about Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean? Cool outfit, but is he a hero? Whether the superheroes are clearly recognisable or not, they take us along on their adventures in which they save Gotham, the entire world, the universe, or even the Multiverse. We capture and lose the Black Pearl together with our heroes, find treasures and meet cursed creatures of the sea. The images arise in our heads because we feel as if we were on board ourselves, as if we were flying through the city on spider threads and sitting at the wheel of the Batmobile. All this and more can be experienced at our superlative film music concert.
