Symphonic music for large orchestra. Melodies for westerns, action films, melodramas. Full of passion, poetry and sonority. They won Oscars and became global hits. In its Lichtburg concert, the Düsseldorf State Government Orchestra, under the direction of its chief conductor Christian Ludwig, plays music from Oscar-winning blockbusters: Game of Thrones, Batman, ET, Harry Potter, Mission Impossible, Lord of the Rings, King Kong, Pirates of the Caribbean and much more The program with film excerpts is led by the Essen music journalist and director Axel Fuhrmann.
