Young Soundtrack Orchestra conducted by Frank de Vuyst - Auditorio de Zaragoza
Program Info: The Young Orchestra of Soundtracks (JOBS), founded in Zaragoza in April 2008, is the union of the illusion of cinema with the passion for music. It is made up mainly of young Aragonese musicians, although it also has the collaboration of musicians from the rest of Spain. All of them are always accompanied by professionals from different specialities, who contribute their musical knowledge both in rehearsals and in orchestra concerts. JOBS has a firm commitment to promoting the culture of Aragon by promoting the training of younger musicians and bringing film music to all audiences. In June 2008 he made his presentation at the Miguel Servet auditorium in Zaragoza performing the trilogy of The Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean. To date, the orchestra has participated on numerous occasions in the Introduction to Music Cycle organized by the Zaragoza Auditorium and in the International Cycle of Young Orchestras organised by the University of Zaragoza. Likewise, it has performed in various municipalities of Aragón and in other communities such as Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha and the Valencian Community. On several occasions it has had the collaboration of choirs such as: Amici Musicae, Enarmonía and Hamster Vocal Ensemble, in addition to the participation of important national soloists. During the meetings, the orchestra has had the musical preparation of Samuel Lázaro, Miguel Isidro Ouro de los Santos, Miguel Ángel García, Mario García, Antonio Uriel, Irene Huete, Alfredo Guerrero, Iciar Múgica, Delphine Dupuy, Natalia Díaz, Rubén Lajara , Hervé Michaud, Mario Telenti, Katarzyna Grenda, Igor Egidon, Héctor Castelló, Manuel José Rives and José Antonio Antolín among others. In 2018, for the celebration of the 10th Anniversary at the Zaragoza Auditorium, the project was expanded with the formation of a choir with more than 70 voices, whose current director is Noelia Torres. Already in 2019 and in parallel, the creation of a training orchestra directed by Miguel Isidro Ouro de los Santos began to be planned, which offers the youngest music students an alternative adapted to different levels of training, continuing in the field from the film and television repertoire. It is not until 2021 that the project starts due to the global pandemic. Likewise, the components that are acquiring a more advanced level have the option of being part of the main orchestra and in this way continue nurturing the group of young local talent. Currently, the orchestra continues to offer concerts in Zaragoza and different municipalities of Aragon.
