Prague Proms: Hollywood Night
Czech National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Steven Mercurio - Municipal House, Smetana Hall
Program Info: The Czech National Symphony Orchestra has hosted and performed almost three dozen Hollywood Nights for audiences and during the process, met with many icons of film music. In September 2023, we invited you, our audience members, on our social media to directly influence and thereby co-create the program of the Hollywood Night concert, which will take place as part of the 20th annual Prague Proms festival.
Originally, these suggestions taken from our media platforms were only going to be implemented in the first half of the concert. However, we were surprised to find that the collected responses brought more beautiful and innovative ideas than we expected. For this reason, we have adapted the entire concert program to include the titles suggested by you, and supplemented these with just a few of our personal favourites.
We are looking forward to what is sure to be a truly unique atmosphere in Smetana Hall, made possible only through your contributions.
