On Christmas Eve, a little boy lies in his bed and ponders an all-important question: “Is Santa Claus real?” Or doesn’t it exist?” So he listens and looks out into the snowy night with great interest to see if the ringing of a reindeer sleigh bell can be heard somewhere.
But instead of the sleigh, a smoking train suddenly screeches to a stop in front of the little boy's house: It's the Polar Express! The friendly conductor asks the astonished and fascinated boy to get on board because a fast-paced and adventurous journey to the North Pole awaits him.
On the journey there, the boy meets many other fascinating passengers and learns that miracles never end as long as you firmly believe in them. If you also want to know whether Santa Claus lives at the North Pole, then accompany the Thuringia Philharmonic on their journey in the Polar Express!
