Program Info:
The anniversary year has begun: we are celebrating 100 years of music in Leipzig Radio, as well as 100 years of the radio orchestra (today the MDR Symphony Orchestra) and 100 years of the radio choir (today the MDR Radio Choir). To set the mood, works from the early days of the Leipzig station are on the program. It's going to be entertaining and a little serious, but above all is the rediscovery of the great music of the time and the important role that radio played in spreading it from the start.
