PFO for the first time in
Prague Film Orchestra conducted by Jiří Korynta - Pardubice House of Music
Program Info: For our concert debut in Pardubice, we are preparing a truly unique program for you. The baton of our conductor Jiří Korynta will turn into a magic wand, under whose direction you will be able to enjoy music from The Last Samurai performed by the PFO. The dramatic passages of Eastern cultures are replaced by the tender piano prelude of the golden classic Pride and Prejudice. Our pianist Tomáš Vahalík will introduce himself to you with a solo. After that, we will be transported to deep space, or to " Deep Space " by the author's composition of the same name by Martin Šaroch. Czech film music will rather dominate the second half of the concert, however, even in the first half we will get a little taste of it with the title song of the immortal series Hospital on the outskirts of the city. Faithful to its programmatic goal of including interesting game melodies, fans of the Age of Empires series will appreciate it . The end of the first half will again belong to film music from Leonardo DiCaprio's acting concert " Meet Joe Black " as well as serial music. Before the break you will be able to enjoy the current netflix hit " The Queen"s Gambit ". After the break, we will return to the intrepid gangsters in the title track of the legendary Czech game Mafia . It will clearly be followed by one of the most famous themes of action films and the unmistakable Bond film by composer David Arnold - Casino Royale . In terms of genre, we will stick to this music with the composition "You Can't Hide", written for the film directly by our conductor Jiří Korynta. The action-packed second part will be followed by a block of Czech film music consisting of suites and themes from unforgettable classics - Jáchym, throw him into the machine , Alone at the Forest , Černí baroni and the series Cirkus Humberto . Finally, we will then return to the pillars of our program, where the Raider`s March from Indiana Jones must not be missed. The list is more than tempting and we are looking forward to our premiere in Pardubice! Don't miss us.
