Program Info: Through the years and in the development of film history, there has been music from famous films that have stood out to a great extent at the same time. Soundtracks were composed that just by listening to a fragment transport us to this film that brings back so many memories.
Film music has contributed to the success of certain films, where music is one of the most relevant elements. Since the beginnings of sound cinema, there have been important composers who contributed their mastery to this fantastic universe of the giant screen: Max Steiner, Miklós Rózsa, Dimitri Tiomkin, George Gerswhin, Henry Mancini, Bernard Herrmann, Enni Morricone, John Barry , John Williams , James Horner or Hans Zimmer, to name a few. Many earned Academy Award nominations and Oscars, as well as other international awards. This will be the third concert dedicated to Film Music produced by the Alcoi Music Friends Association in the last seven years.
