Under the direction of Benjamin Lévy, let yourself be bewitched by the most famous Sicilian melodies in cinema! The Concerto for string orchestra by Nino Rota, official composer of Fellini's masterpieces, will precede the suite from The Godfather , with Vincent Beer-Demander on the mandolin. To the sound of this instrument typical of Neapolitan dances, the whole trilogy of Francis Ford Coppola will resurface, from the dangerous streets of Manhattan to the gold of the Massimo theater in Palermo. Another master of music for the big screen will be heard, with Ennio Morricone's Serenata passacaglia , with a heady rhythm. We will then conclude the evening with Symphony No. 4 called "Italian" by Mendelssohn, piquant and warm.
