Lucie Antunes - La Fête Sauvage

Pianist, flautist and talented drummer, the young composer Lucie Antunes is fearless. In line with her electro-acoustic pieces and her collaborations with choreographers and performers, here she tackles La Fête Sauvage (1976), a superb animal film by Frédéric Rossif finally restored. For this cine-concert, she mixes the finesse of her writing for Les Percussions de Strasbourg with the intoxicating purity of Axel Rigaud's electro score. The ode to the telluric power of nature that emerges from the whole is simply fascinating.
