The musicians from The Queen's Cartoonists – who live in Queens, New York City – create a virtuoso and humorous interplay of jazz and animation and breathe new life into two unique American art forms. 100 years of animation history come together with music by jazz and film composers, but also by Mozart, Strauss or Rossini in a crazy harmony, perfectly matched to the plot of the projected cartoons. In terms of originality, wit and temperament, the six musicians are in no way inferior to their cartoon stage partners and so Bugs Bunny, the most famous of all cartoon rabbits, suddenly appears very real on stage! A crazy adventure with black and white finds from the early days of animated films as well as modern colour cartoons.
