"My first film-concert" is a playful and humorous gateway to discover five short films chosen for their graphic richness and their red thread celebrating encounters and differences. Clémence Gaudin on double bass and Bruno Godard on bassoon and ukulele double, make noise and brilliantly revisit the repertoire. Their secret? A subtle dosage between the rigor of the classic and jazz improvisation, to marry naturally the action of each of the characters. Along the way, they bring to light two instruments often hidden at the back of the orchestra and a multitude of known or unknown melodies which celebrate, from Rossini to Delibes, from Mozart to Stravinsky, three centuries of musical invention.
