Program Info: There are many heroes in film history, and each of them has been carried on their adventures by the most wonderful compositions.
In the movie Gladiator, Hans Zimmer's tunes accompanied Maximus to the battle arena, while in the movie Alien, Ripley fought creepy aliens to the music of James Horner. Neither Batman nor Princess Mononoke would have reached such wonderful performances without the music of Danny Elfman or Joe Hishaishi.
From Batman to Conan the Barbarian, Mad Max's Furiosa to Terminator's Sarah Connor. In the HEROES concert, the story of the most famous heroes is played with tunes, e.g. from the movies The Hunger Games, Alien, The Terminator and Gladiator.
The concert is conducted by Nick Davies.
