Dresdner Philharmonie conducted by Tabita Berglund - Kulturpalast
Program Info: Anyone who has seen the film TÁR with Cate Blanchett, in which the Dresden Philharmonic plays the film orchestra, will certainly remember the soundtrack by the award-winning Icelander Hildur Guðnadóttir. This time we're playing a track from it live! In addition, there is the symphony by the Finn Jean Sibelius, with which he became famous and which, with its sounds, transports us to northern expanses with lonely lakes and forests to this day. A few things are different in our AbFRACKt series: The concert only lasts an hour at most, the musicians don't play in black tails and nobody has to be afraid of clapping in the wrong place. And you certainly don't need any special knowledge to understand the music "correctly". Just come, listen and be surprised. And if you want to learn a little more about the music, you can download the free Wolfgang app onto your smartphone and be guided through the respective work live in the concert. Afterwards we invite you to stay in our foyers, get another glass of wine or beer in the “Tutti” café and relax a bit, chat or simply look out over the city from the balcony...
